AquaMetrics provides Landscape Water Management Services for Water Utilities and Facility Managers. A brief description of these services follows:
Landscape Area Measurement System
AquaMetrics has developed a new technology for use in Landscape Water Management called the Landscape Area Measurement System (LAMS). LAMS provides a database of the irrigated and hardscape area found at each service address in a utility or city and permits calculation of Excess Landscape Water Use for each site. The irrigated area and hardscape area data produced by LAMS can also be used for Baseline Studies, rate design, drought allocations and non-point source pollution control planning.
Landscape Water Management Program Design and Management
AquaMetrics has operated 9 Landscape Water Management audit programs throughout California and designed ITAP (Irrigation Technical Assistance Program) which is presently being used by the Santa Clara Valley Water District. |
